Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Micah Health Facilitator receives, uses, shares and protects personal information when coordinating international patient enquiries.

Last reviewed: 27 August 2026

General working document: MHF should have this reviewed and adapted by qualified legal counsel for every jurisdiction in which the company operates.

1. Scope and responsibility

This policy applies to information submitted through the MHF website, forms, email, WhatsApp and direct coordination. MHF acts as a facilitator and may transmit information to hospitals or clinicians selected for a case review.

2. Information we may receive

We collect only information reasonably needed to respond to an enquiry or coordinate requested services. Medical information is sensitive and should be shared only when relevant.

  • Identity and contact details
  • Country, language and travel information
  • Medical summaries, test results, scans, prescriptions and referral documents
  • Communication history, preferred hospitals and requested specialties
  • Technical information such as browser, device, security logs and consent records

3. Why information is used

Information may be used to answer enquiries, organize records, identify appropriate hospital departments, request preliminary feedback, coordinate appointments, support travel planning, prevent abuse and maintain service records. MHF does not use submitted medical records to make an independent diagnosis.

4. Sharing and international transfers

With the patient’s request or authorization, relevant information may be shared with hospitals, clinicians, laboratories, travel-support providers or other parties needed for the requested service. Because treatment may occur in India while a patient resides abroad, information can cross national borders. Only necessary information should be shared, and recipients may be governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Retention and security

MHF uses reasonable organizational and technical safeguards, access controls and secure service providers. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. Records should be retained only for coordination, legal, security and legitimate operational needs, then securely deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

6. Patient choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, a person may ask to access, correct, restrict or delete information, withdraw consent for optional processing, or object to certain uses. A deletion request may be limited where records must be retained for legal, security or dispute-resolution reasons.

7. Cookies and third-party services

The site may use necessary cookies, analytics, maps, messaging, video, content-delivery and security services. Third-party links and platforms operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Users should review those notices before sending sensitive information.

8. Children and emergencies

A parent or legally authorized guardian should provide information for a minor. This website is not an emergency service. In an urgent or life-threatening situation, contact local emergency services or the nearest appropriate medical facility immediately.
